C-RAM Program
Critical Infrastructure and Force Protection (CI&FP) is searching for an Operations Program Manager to support all C-RAM and follow-on programs. Will develop plans and help move program from Development phase to Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) up through Full Rate Production (FRP). Provide the direction and project leadership for Manufacturing Operations Management by coordinating program issues that relate to the ultimate satisfaction of customer requirements on developmental and production programs. Responsible for organizing multiple elements of program team activities, including diverse functions such as manufacturing, engineering, contracts, quality, material, and test and other support functions. Ensure that programs and contracts are executable from a MRP standpoint, including schedule and product structures to ensure that the contract is fully met and time phased correctly and according to the contract. Will direct manufacturing execution with production stakeholders, collecting status and managing activity to achieve program goals. Create and refine BOE's and development of technical manufacturing proposals.
Designs production flow to ensure the most efficient and productive layouts are available to meeting the objective of the team. Designs sequence of operations and specifies procedures for functions that affect product performance. Develop Lean approaches that improve production conditions and throughput. Reviews and reports financial performance and possess the ability to be able to forecast events to prevent unnecessary delta's in both CPI and SPI. Develops and initiates statistical process controls to refine and control techniques in all aspects of the production environment. Provides guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and optimize manufacturing processes and cost effective production. Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations and internal procedures.
Basic Qualifications:
* 9 Years with Bachelors in Science; 7 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD.
* Candidate must have experience in Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering to include change and configuration control, Capacity Planning, Production Readiness Reviews, Test Readiness Reviews and Earned Value Management Systems.
* Must have expertise in SAP.
Experience in the following areas are also required:
* Advanced knowledge of MRP/ SAP, Lean Manufacturing concepts, Continuous Improvement, AS9100 .
* Must be proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project).
* Must be able to design manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, and material handling. Secret Clearance required.
