Roles and Responsibilities:
Designs and plans network communications systems. Provides specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture. Provides specific detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements. Conducts testing of network design. Maintains technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, multiplexers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc. Evaluates and reports on new communications technologies to enhance capabilities of the network.

Minimum Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:


Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
(2) years networks experience. Experience and understanding of networks and network devices and technologies (e.g. routers, switches, Cisco, Foundry, et al) a plus.
Knowledge of software development methodologies and formalized testing methodologies and tools; experience with good/effective systems engineering practices and processes; experience incident management tools, such as Remedy, and experience with office automation products, such as MS Word, Excel, and Power Point.
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment where multiple projects are being developed and deployed simultaneously.
Must be able to work well within a team environment.
Must be able to adapt quickly to change.
Position requires a current TS/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph Clearance.
