The qualified applicant will become part of the group of individuals who negotiate and award subcontracts and manage the relationships with suppliers for the high-profile, highly-successful TuscanSun program.
The successful candidate will oversee subk performance, provide responsible advice and counsel on a range of business topics, and possess in-depth knowledge and understanding of FAR, government contracting methods, and best practices. Will makes use of broad proposal experience, with duties that may include strategic sourcing, RFP and SOW development, proposal review and evaluation, price/cost analysis, source selection, negotiation and award.
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Maintain strong supplier relations and ensure compliance to company policies and procedures
* Develop subcontracts and teaming agreements, ensuring flow-downs, negotiating T's & C's and provisions
* Teaming with Business Management to facilitate invoicing and payment
* Identify, mitigate, and resolve contract-related risks and issues
* Offer guidance to and work cooperatively with team members from the technical, program, finance, and contracts disciplines.
Minimum Qualifications:
* BA, MA, or JD
* 10 years in Contracts/Subcontracts; 8 years w/masters and/or JD
* 2-3 years demonstrated strength managing teammates on a large, fast-paced program
* Must be able to obtain a TS/SCI w/ Poly Clearance - need not be in hand to apply

* Great communicator - in both personal interactions and writing
* Maintains cool when faced with tight deadlines or competing priorities... making decisions in a timely manner
