This is a Full-Time position at the Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC), Fort Huachuca AZ. The candidate will provide technical support during standards conformance and joint interoperability test and evaluation of various service, agency, department, and Combatant Commander sponsored projects. Candidate will provide technical expertise in developing test plans, test reports, programmatic documentation, engineering documentation, certification letters and trip reports. Candidate will review and provide comments on JITC and other DOD developed documentation related to the projects, coordinate assessment strategies between various government representatives, and provide subject matter expertise during reporting of test and evaluation results. Work products are in support of Joint Staff, OSD, DOD, Service, Agency, COCOM, and Coalition tasking. Travel to various worldwide locations to witness, conduct and collect data during test events is expected. Attendance and participation in preliminary design reviews, critical design reviews, contract specification and statement of work development meetings, and other meeting venues is also expected.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with eight years of related experience required. The Candidate will function under limited supervision and will have full range of test responsibilities in support of tasks. Should have the ability to use a PC, MS Office Applications, and to Multi-Task Analytical, Critical Thinking, and Listening Skills Interpersonal and People Skills Oral and Written Communication Skills Organizational Skills. Familiarity with the test and evaluation methodology promulgated by the five operational test agencies and the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System is a plus. Familiarity with the following areas and systems is an asset: Army Battle Command Systems (ABCS) family of systems; A2C2S, TAIS; JLTV, LAV; VMF (Variable Message Format)and associated standards, and TDL (Tactical Data Link) and associated standards; Command and Control Platforms and IFF systems. An interim secret security clearance is required within 90 days of employment.
