Information Sys Tech Analyst 2 – 188259
Supports the Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) in performing technical reviews and interoperability testing of Department of Defense (DoD) communications systems. Develops technical approach to determine interoperability requirements and develops interoperability assessment plans for various DoD systems. Performs interoperability testing and develops reports based upon findings. Coordinates assessment strategies between various government representatives. Operates and evaluates various radios as required during testing. Coordinates the operation of various communications systems during testing. Operates complex test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment during testing.

Job Qualifications: At least eight years of experience in the area of specialization and an Associate's degree or at least 30 semester hours from an accredited institution in a related field. The ability to perform complex work with little guidance and the ability to interact in a positive manner with other personnel, government and industry. Competent with MS Office. Excellent technical writing skills are a must. Should have an understanding and knowledge of military communications systems and architectures, RF theory, tactical radio employment, and operations in joint and coalition environment. Candidate must be able to set up and operate complex test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment. The ability to develop detailed test procedures based upon specific standards and specifications. This position will require travel. The ability to attain a DoD security clearance is required for this position. Experience in US Navy communications and/or Expeditionary Warfare communications architectures and operations is desired.

An interim secret security clearance is required within 90 days of employment.
