The Configuration and Projects Manager will be responsible for tracking, documenting and evaluating existing and emerging technologies as they pertain to requirements within the U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground (YPG) Network Enterprise Center (NEC) Information Technology Project Management Office. The Projects Manager will substantiate mission requirements and develop solutions, while ensuring coordination between all activities involved in the project. The Projects Manager will also be responsible for the facilitation of the YPG Configuration Control Board. The Projects Manager will Report to the Chief of the Information Technology Project Management Office.
Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in architecting, implementing and supporting enterprise network environments, to include server administration, network infrastructure support (switches, routers, firewalls, IDS, etc), circuit provisioning, storage solutions, etc. Must demonstrate a broad working knowledge of new and existing technologies and solutions. Must be familiar and comfortable in the following disciplines: Application development, infrastructure management, disaster recovery, client/server support and administration, network architecting, deployment and support, COOP/DR, security. Diverse knowledge and experience with multiple technologies, vendors and equipment highly desirable. Security+ or equivalent certification required. ISC2 career path certification, or equivalent, required. PMP or equivalent certification and additional vendor/organizational certifications desirable. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; attention to detail; excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong analytic skills; administrative abilities; and the ability to handle multiple tasks. Ability to generate tables, graphic reports, and databases as needed.
