Join a national level development and O&M program to protect the nation’s networks. The National Cyber Protection System (NCPS), operationally known as EINSTEIN, is an integrated system of intrusion detection, analytics, intrusion prevention, and information sharing capabilities that are used to defend the Federal civilian government’s IT infrastructure from cyber threats. The NCPS consists of the hardware, software, supporting processes, training, and services that are being developed and acquired to support the mission.
We are searching for a Chief Architect for this exciting new Cyber security program.
Responsibilities will include
· Leading the analysis and design of an architecture that is secure, scalable, flexible, and resilient,
· Leading solution definition for a family of cybersecurity systems that fits into the architecture
· Leading the research for new capabilities that can be “plugged” into the architecture to expand the solution cost-effectively
· Working with US CERT personnel, DHS, Critical Infrastructure, Universities, FFRDCs, and industry experts to identify options and trades
