Develop schematic diagrams and parts breakdown structures used in the design and manufacture of electro-mechanical equipment. Establish processes and procedures used to install, align, troubleshoot and integrate at both subsystem and system level. Manage and direct other employees and subcontractors at field locations throughout the U.S. - review timecards for completeness and accuracy. Meet with USPS customer representatives (managerial, maintenance and operations) and provide technical and operations support as well as status briefings. Provide field communications to NGC Program Office and TS Deployment headquarters as to installation status, issues. During field operations - provide feedback to NG Systems Engineering for design improvements and process improvements. Develop installation team training course material and provide suggestions for updates and improvements. Perform all System Acceptance tasks including customer familiarization training (operations and maintenance), executing test plans & procedures, data collection & reporting - establish good working relations with USPS test directors, site operations and maintenance personnel. Perform all Installation Activities including unloading of equipment, mechanical and electrical assembly, system integration, adjustments/alignments. Engineer to provide technical assistance and direction to subordinates on USPS Programs. Basic Qualifications: 5-10 years experience in working with electro-mechanical equipment. Experience in the automation or robotics industry. B.S. Degree or extensive technical education required. 95% travel required. Preferred Qualifications: B.S. in Electrical Engineering Discipline.
