Systems Engineering - Radar Systems Design & Analysis Support:
Seeking individuals with backgrounds in system design, requirements, development and test of algorithms for Radar modes. Experience with functional definition and real-time software interface highly desirable. Representative modes include air-to-air search and track, air-to-ground mapping, GMTI search and track, NCTR/ATR, adaptive processing, and calibration. Tools: Matlab, C++ skills.
Basic Qualifications: BS, MS, or PhD in EE or related Engineering discipline, Physics, or Mathematics. Must have at least a DOD SECRET clearance. 2 yrs minimum relevant Radar Systems Engineering experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Candidates should have as a minimum a Secret clearance, but higher clearances are desirable including Top Secret and SCI.
Common Job Description
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
