Reliability Engineer T3\T4 – 177355
Seeking individuals with a background in Systems Reliability.
Candidate must be able to perform a variety of Reliability activities on programs from proposal through development to production.
Establish design guidelines and criteria as well as develop and track reliability allocations to meet program contractual requirements.
Candidate must be able to identify, document, and track implementation of supportability design attributes working independently as well as with engineers and other project personnel within Integrated Product Teams to influence the design for supportability.
Must be thoroughly familiar with Reliability modeling and the development of Reliability Block Diagrams and be able to conduct a variety of Reliability analyses including predictions/assessments, trade studies, and Failure Mode, Effects & Criticality Analysis (FMECA).
Produce discrete Reliability models and predictions using tools such as RELEX, PRISM, EXCEL, and ACCESS. Experience in the development of, preparation for, and conduction of Reliability Growth Testing, Highly Accelerated Life Tests (HALT), and Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) is desirable. Must be able to plan and manage a Failure Reporting, Analysis & Corrective Action System (FRACAS).
Candidate must have a working knowledge of mathematical probabilities, statistical analyses, component applications, and derating models, as well as be able to statistically analyze test data. Candidate should also be able to integrate with Safety, Maintainability, Human Factors, Survivability, and Logistics tasks and analyses.
Basic Qualifications: BS or advanced degree in Engineering, Physics, Reliability, or related discipline with a minimum of 5 years Systems Reliability experience required. Minimum DoD Secret Security Clearance Required.
This job may be filled at the T3 or T4 level, depending on the qualifications of the person hired.
