This position includes the responsibility for management of the ES BWI campus sole source proposals pricing group, oversight of the DCMA and DCAA audits and Estimating System Adequacy reviews. Knowledge of Estimating and Pricing procedures and practices, in addition to general FAR and Government Acquisition Policy is preferred. A general finance or estimating and pricing background, including customer negotiation or DCMA/DCAA interface will be required to perform the responsibilities of this position. The position will be responsible for guidance on strategic positioning, proposal compliance, and proposal preparation on the sectors significant sole source proposals, including the audit process of these proposals. This position will be working closely and coordinating with the divisional Business Managers, Program Management, and the other members of the Estimating and Pricing team in the formulation of proposal strategy and volume execution. Responsibilities will include providing cost volume planning, leadership, and management oversight for proposals, and will be responsible for defining and implementing the cost strategies necessary to translate final customer requirements into proposal documentation. In order to accomplish the goals of providing continuity between proposal strategy and proposal execution, and supporting Government audits, a highly qualified manager is needed. Manager Level M2 and M3 will both be considered for hire if they meet the required qualifications.
Basic Qualifications:
Strong leadership, analytical, presentation and Business Management skills. Secret security clearance required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years Business Management experience.
