This position reports directly to the AC&TD SCPM Director, with total SCM accountability for the Quick React Operator Solutions business area of AC&TD. The individual will coordinate with Program Office, Eng IPT Leads, Ops, and Mission Assurance to successfully plan and execute total supply chain requirements in support of these unique programs.
The individual is responsible for the coordination, understanding content of bills of material (BOM), pricing of materials, generation of SOW requirements to subcontractors, and supply chain risk characterization for programs being proposed. Responsible for staffing and directing the performance of SCPMs, SCPPs, and SCA activities as the business area grows and evolves.
Responsible for the technical, cost, and schedule performance of materials in support of AC&TD programs. Serve as the primary Supply Chain interface to the program(s) on status and performance issues related to sourcing strategies and material. Support program subcontract IPTs as necessary, identify material risks and develop mitigation plans, establish and manage target pricing for materials, participate in evaluation of proposals, assist in negotiations, coordinate SCM related export control and security requirements. Due to the Quick React nature of this business area, a strong understanding of manufacturing & engineering processes at NG-ES is highly beneficial in order to quickly assess and contribute to sourcing decisions. A DoD Secret clearance required; TS/SCI is desirable.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates for this position should possess a BS in SCM, Engineering, Business or related field and a minimum of 7 years related experience. Proficient in Microsoft office. A DoD Secret clearance is required and A TS / SCI / SSBI is highly desired. Band level based on experience. Can be filled as an M2 or M3.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Proficiency in SAP highly desired.
COMMON JOB DESCRIPTION : Develops and implements long-term supply chain strategies and networks that address capacity issues, production location decisions, etc. in support of business growth. Supports business execution of new programs and initiatives that include promotional activities, forecast and coordination for key events, new product launches, and network redesigns. Monitors key performance indicators, analyzes cost-to-serve performance data, and coordinates cross-functional work teams to increase effectiveness of supply chain initiatives.
