Northrop Grumman Electronics Sector - Marine Systems (NGES-MS) specializes in the design, development, manufacture, assembly and test of propulsion, and power generation systems for naval surface ships and submarines.
Experienced in design and application of control systems for electromechanical systems and positioning controls. Experience with magnetic bearings for rotating machinery is a plus. Capable of developing new designs and product improvements within cost and schedule targets. Thorough understanding of hardware, software, and systems requirements development processes including interface development and management. Demonstrated capabilities in time and frequency domain performance simulation modeling to support product development and system validation test tools. Troubleshoots and resolves system issues in a logical and systematic way. Demonstrated proficiency in both written and verbal communications to both technical staff and business management.
BSEE or BSME minimum, MS preferred with 2+ yrs related experience. Demonstrated capability to perform assignments on time, within budget. Familiarity and understanding of military specifications and standards a plus. Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft office products, and system modeling and simulation tolls.
MUST BE A US CITIZEN with the ability to obtain a secret security clearance is required.
