Logistics Engineer 5 ,Supportability IntegrationThis individual will perform duties as the primary NUCAS systems supportability engineer in El Segundo. Candidate will be responsible for coordinating subcontractor and customer interface meetings, deliverables, procurement specification and statements of work development, facilities planning and ship compatibility coordination through the application of systems engineering principles and practices. Additional duties will include integrated master schedule development and sustainment as well as providing Support IPT status using the earned value management system. Conduct trade studies and analyses independently and in multi-disciplinary teams. Interface with Air Vehicle System and Mission System teams to ensure Supportability requirements are incorporated in the maturing design. Candidate will also be responsible for mentoring less experience logistics engineers in the development of support related specifications interface control documents and supplier statements of work.Basic Qualifications: BS degree or equivalent with minimum14 years experience in aircraft development, operations, maintenance or customer support. Secret clearance required. Preferred Qualifications: Prior LO maintenance experience on legacy platforms. Prior military experience in naval aircraft maintenance and/or operations is desired. Experience with earned value management, subcontractor management, or the development of supplier specifications and statements of work as they relate to support/logistics requirements. Top secret clearance. Security Clearance Required.
