Engineer 3 – 188771
System Test Engineer Level 3 in the System Test IPT for the Advanced Technology and Development Center. Responsible for development, update and release of test procedures utilized by the IPT. Interface with design and analysis functions to develop test and test data requirements. Conduct testing as required, as the test engineer. Coordinate test equipment and personnel requirements for safe and efficient execution of test requirements. The position will be based at Palmdale, CA and requires continuing interaction with responsible engineers at many and varied locations. This position requires the ability to obtain access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Requires technical knowledge of systems, sub-systems and specialized test equipment with the ability to trouble shoot LRU's, and be a hands-on person with equipment. Basic Qualifications: BS in an Engineering discipline, with a minimum of 5 years of applicable experience in flight test operations. Current Secret clearance required. Preferred Qualifications: Current Top Secret clearance a significant plus. Must be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance and SAP accesses. Ability and willingness to work non-standard shifts/overtime and travel for extended periods is essential. Security Clearance Required.
