LO Antennas Engineer
In this level 4 Engineer position you would join our Low Observables ( LO ) Integration team and you will: define and establish Radar Cross Section ( RCS ) and functional design requirements; manage technical risks, evaluate cost Impacts, and review engineering conformance to program Schedule Requirements for new antenna and aperture development efforts. Specifically, you would: Conduct RCS analyses and studies to ensure system-level signature compliance; work with various design disciplines to integrate LO system design features and sensors into platforms; assure LO program requirements are met; evaluate relevant technologies for applicability ; and develop RCS test requirements, provide test support, and evaluate results. In addition you will Develop and Maintain procurement requirements and documentation. You will be required to travel and support technical meetings, negotiations, and testing in various offsite locations within the Continental U.S..
Basic Qualifications: A Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a closely related engineering/science discipline with a minimum of 10 years of experience (8 years with a Masters degree) is required. This position requires directly related Antenna or LO Sensor experience. Since a special access clearance will be required in this position candidates must possess an active Secret clearance in order to be considered.
Preferred Qualifications: An active Top Secret security clearance is preferred. A Masters degree in an Engineering Discipline is preferred. Previous Low Observables experience is preferred. Excellent written and oral communication skills are a plus.
