Systems Engineering Architect Mgr 2This position requires a multi-disciplined individual with a broad skill-set covering conceptual architecture decompositions and architecture design solutions. Must have a Model Based Systems Engineering background in developing architectures using forward engineering or reverse engineering techniques. The individual must have coordination skills and act in a cross-product team (CPT) environment for the customer and the Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) as required. Must have knowledge of horizontal and vertical decomposition of large systems and guide the development of products from analysis to design with an understanding of the system life-cycle (requirements capture, management, allocations, architecture concepts, architecture solutions). Experience in developing large systems solutions is a must. Must have knowledge of managing people, tools and processes.Basic Qualifications: BS, or MS in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science. 9 plus years of related experience with BS or 7 plus yrs experience with MS. Must have some leadership role(s) that demonstrate measured performance.Preferred Qualifications: Extensive background in SysML, DODAF, UML, and xUML development is preferred. The individual has executed in a Model Driven Design paradigm using Rhapsody, Rational Rose, Magic Draw, Enterprise Architect, Together Architect, Rational Software Architect, Systems Architect, Visual Paradigm or any other UML or DODAF product. Total UML experience preferred is 6 years minimum. Relocation Assistance Available. Security Clearance Required.
