NGAS Quality, Safety and Mission Assurance, Independent Assessment is seeking a Software professional to join their team. Independent Assessment manages and performs major independent reviews and provides a Technical 911 resource for NGAS. The candidate will be responsible for review of software requirements and assessment of testing across NGAS. Must have experience in the lifecycle of complex software systems, with emphasis on software requirements, software architectures, software design and development, or software test and validation. The candidate will work closely with systems engineering, software development, and management professionals to ensure that the requirements development and testing phases of the software lifecycle are accomplished with high quality and efficiency. This position requires the ability to assess both the quality and timeliness of the organization's products, and to support identification and remediation of potential issues. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: BS in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field and 14+ years of software lifecycle experience. Individual must have proven leadership qualities, good written and oral communication skills, demonstrated ability to interact both with program management as well as multidisciplined technical teams; and a comprehensive background/understanding of all aspects of the software development lifecycle. Active DoD Security Clearance required.
