C-RAM Program

Northrop Grumman Information Systems (IS) - Command Infrastructure and Forced Protection (CI&FP) is searching for a Manufacturing Engineer to support all CI&FP programs. Will be the Manufacturing Engineering responsible for all aspects of Manufacturing Engineering on both developmental and production programs. Designs manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining and material handling. Develops manufacturing processes that are applicable to statistical process control, and may develop those techniques. Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations. Will be responsible for all Manufacturing Engineering aspects related to the integration, test and deployment of CI&FP hardware and manufactured products.

This position requires direct interface with Engineering and Manufacturing to develop/support/manage detailed MRP based schedules and overall factory execution. Candidate should be familiar with techniques in time phasing materials, including processing time lines (move, queue, wait), process work flow development, work instruction development and maintenance, and tooling requirements. Experience in estimating and development of technical manufacturing proposals is also necessary. Will be responsible for creating processes, work instructions and procedures for all aspects of production and test and will be involved in activity covering MRP, Procurement, Manufacturing, Test, SW loading, packaging, shipment and deployment. Candidate will also be accountable for efforts regarding new product line set ups and execution.

Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in a related field with 2+ years of related experience.
* Position requires communication skills, both verbal and written; effective analytical and problem-solving skills; effective organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and plan work.
* Candidate will have experience in manufacturing configuration control, engineering change control and capacity planning.
* Advanced knowledge of MRP/ SAP, Lean Manufacturing concepts, Continuous Improvement, AS9100.
* Must be a self-starter and a "team player" able to perform well within a demanding and dynamic environment.
