Executive level policy support to a Navy command and staff. Support training, proficiency measurement, and training resource allocation. Analyze assessment, training, certification data and manpower, material/maintenance data obtained during the Unit Level Training Phase. Provide support for Surface Warfare Enterprise (SWE) metrics. Support development of ship required metrics displays to the Type Commander (TYCOM), as well as performance of special analyses; as requested by the TYCOM. Attend, as subject matter expert, conferences and technical meetings/seminars to support professional growth and to support Fleet training requirements.
Must have at least 24 months experience with tracking training during the ULTP. Must be familiar with SHIPTRAIN, SHIPMAIN and FRTP training requirements. Must be knowledgeable of multiple ship classes and their training and maintenance organizations. Must have experience with training shipboard training teams and experience as a training team leader (CSTT, STT, DCTT, ETT, FPTT, ITT). Must have served a tour as a surface ship executive officer or department head. Experience as shipboard training officer also desired. SECRET clearance required.
