Northrop Grumman Marine Systems specializes in the development; manufacturing, assembly and testing of missile launching and handling systems, propulsion, and power generation systems for naval surface ships and submarines.
This position will provide earned value management support to contract programs. Position responsibilities include; establish a time-phased budget baseline; develop shop labor hour targets at the sequence level; monitor and report program status; determine causes for significant variances to planned expenditures; prepare periodic estimates to complete; and provide detailed analysis corresponding to the monthly cost data. Candidates must possess strong analytical, computer, and communication skills along with the ability to perform in a team environment. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (ie Excel, Word, PowerPoint with special emphasis in charting data) and earned value management system application is required. Knowledge of work breakdown structure hierarchy, manufacturing processes, and shop floor control systems is highly desirable. Mico-Frame Program Manager (MPM) or factor hourly earned value experience is a plus.
A BS/BA in industrial Engineering, Industrial Technology or equivalent is required. Knowledge of MRP systems, especially shop floor control systems, work breakdown structure hierarchy.
