Procurement Analyst 3\Buyer 3 – 188893
Procurement position procures metallic/non-metallic, raw and controlled material, parts, services, and/or supplies necessary for operation of an organization. Compiles and analyzes statistical data to determine feasibility of buying products and to establish price objectives. Candidate must have aptitude or ability to learn manufacturing processes including composite, metal bond and processing and project management. Confers with suppliers and analyzes suppliers operations to determine factors that affect prices and determines lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules. Excellent written and oral communication and negotiation skills are essential. Responsibilities will include but not limited to preparing bid packages, analyzing and evaluating Supplier proposals, negotiating contract provisions, selecting and recommending supplier, issuing Purchase Orders and managing resulting contracts. Candidate will administer Purchase Order Contracts and oversee their performance including control of changes; monitoring performance; risk identification and mitigation plan development.. Project Management experience preferred.Basic requirements: Bacheors (BA/BS) degree with 6 years of related expreince; or Masters (MA/MS) degree with 4 years of related expreince. No relocation assistance being offered.
