Responsible for the assignment of work to Mechanic Leads and other personnel, as required and provides over the shoulder supervision. Ensures that services are available seven days a week. Supports the Rotational Support Operations Division during RSOI and Regeneration. Reports to and coordinates with the Wheel Branch Supervisor, the Rotational Support Operations Division and the Maintenance coordinator to ensure accurate accountability and location of personnel, and efficient equipment maintenance, records management, efficient workload planning, scheduling, and tracking, while performing maintenance actions associated with TAMMS, to include, Calibration, CVE, AOAP, Warranty, Load Testing and other actions and programs. Assists the Maintenance Program Coordinator in all PLL activities ensuring that repairs, parts and supplies identified and available to accomplish scheduled and unscheduled maintenance actions. Ensures that proper housekeeping and HAZMAT are accomplished in assigned work areas. Ensures that weekly safety briefings are scheduled and conducted. Ensures all assigned personnel maintain good safety and housekeeping standards, in assigned work areas. Projects weekly workload for Direct Support and Welding Support. Ensures timekeeping requirements are accomplished daily IAW standards established C.5.0. Inspects assigned work areas for Security, Safety and Building Maintenance requirements and reports all discrepancies to Shop Supervisor immediately.
Minimum Experience: Five(5) years progressive experience in a field related to equipment maintenance and repair. Experience in the operation of STAMIS and ALIMS programs. Must understand and able to use Technical Manuals.
Minimum Education: Graduate of an accredited technical school or have equivalent experience in wheeled vehicle maintenance.
