Northrop Grumman Electronic Fires IPT is seeking a qualified engineer for a position at the Simulation, Analysis, Development and Integration Laboratory (SADIL) facility. The qualifying applicant will perform the NCTA and contract related duties in support of studies to investigate potential cross domain solutions for Cyber, IO, EW, and kinetic range integration.
Basic Qualifications: The successful candidate requires a minimum of a Bachelor degree in a relevant engineering or scientific discipline and a demonstrated track record with a minimum of 5 years experience. The applicant must have a solid understanding of modeling and simulation, system integration, software design, implementation, computer data interfaces design, implementation, and communications interface design and implementation. The applicant should have a working knowledge of Multi level security and Cross Domain systems and accreditations to include a working knowledge of data communications protocols. Additionally, the applicant must be proficient in programming within the Microsoft Visual Studio development environment; Microsoft Access database; 100/1000; Modeling and simulation protocols (Serial communications, DIS Protocol GCCS, ASA, STK, FLS, JCATS, EADSIMADOCS); AOC Common Operational Picture configuration, interfaces, and maintenance. The successful candidate should also have familiarity with the following systems: Windows XP, Vista, Win 07; Windows 2003 Server; Sun OS V8; SGI IRIX; Sun Trusted Solaris 8; GCCS DII/COE; Crypto (KIV-/KG-84, KIV-19/KG-94, TACLANE); Transports (T-1, DS3, 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet); 1553 bus. Current Top Secret clearance with a current SSBI required.
Preferred Qualifications: Superior written and oral communication skills.
