Position Summary / Responsibilities
Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Provide Project Test Support and Test Lab Resource Tracking and Reporting
Collect Process Metrics
Develop and Maintain Standard Operating Procedures
Manage Process Model Standards for Test Engineering and Test Lab functions
Process Model Development and Implementation
Manage Process Improvement
Prepare Test Engineering and National Test Lab Presentations
Perform activities required to update and maintain the Systems Engineering hardware, software, and network components for the SEVLAN and resolve help desk tickets for SEVLAN desktops, servers and applications
Design and Maintain Test Engineering and National Test Lab Web Sites
Perform activities required to develop web page design and page content .
Submit content and page design documentation to the BLM Systems and Test Engineering Task Manager for approval.
Help Desk Ticket Support
Perform activities required to resolve submitted help desk tickets
Document problem resolutions and close all assigned tickets in the Help Desk System
Provide documentation of all Help Desk activities for inclusion in the weekly status report.
General Test Support
Provide a weekly status report to the BLM Task Manager, document and submit minutes of all meetings scheduled and attended for test purposes; attend weekly National Test Lab Meetings.
Provide electronic and/or hard copies of all Product/Project documentation to the SE Test Engineering Test Director for storing in the TEST LAB Documentation System.
