Pgm Cost Control Analyst 3 – 186715
As part of the newly established Program Planning and Control (PP&C) organization, the candidate will be responsible for the implementation of standard processes, tools, and program planning and control practices supporting the Defense Test and Evaluation Operating Unit. Reporting directly to the PP&C Homeroom Managers and supporting the Division Business Manager the candidate will be responsible for the following responsibilities: Individual will participates in the control of costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system. Performs analyses and prepares reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines. Participates in the preparation of budgets and schedules for all contract work and performs and/or assists in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis. Candidate must be able to multi-task and support multiple projects efficiently and effectively. Ensures adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditures projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government and incorporates contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract in order to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines. Finally, execute your role as a Program Cost Control Analyst accordingly to TASC's core values integrity, customer focus, and commitment to excellence, teamwork, and respect for the individual and continual improvement. Qualifications: Position requires 6 years with Bachelor's or 4 years with Master's degree. Must be well versed in MS tools (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access).
