Northrop Grumman Technical Services (NGTS) is looking for an experienced contract management professional with direct experience in development, implementation, and supervision of wide-ranging and diverse government contract areas within the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, or other government agencies. Applicant must be experienced at a management-level performing business development and contract execution. Past experience in coordination with senior corporate managerial personnel, program managers, technical managers, and staff support personnel while directly interfacing with contract customers internationally or nationally. Coordinated and advised senior to mid-level government or corporate personnel for all project requirements. Extensive experience conducting operations at both tactical and strategic levels within the U.S. Military, Federal Government, and/or corporate industry organizations in order to plan the conduct of various security assistance operations within the Middle East, Sub-Sahara Africa, and European regions.
Will manage large technical proposals, both written and oral, and work closely with corporate capture managers to develop and implement winning competitive proposal strategies. The proposal manager's specific responsibilities include directing and coordinating the activities of proposal leaders and numerous technical authors to produce high quality, winning proposals while meeting stringent schedule requirements. Successful applicant will contribute to the corporate data archive which includes resumes, project summaries, management methodology and technical approaches.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Minimum Experience: 16 years military operations experience working with friendly foreign countries with 2 years experience within a large government contract corporation. Must have the management skills required to direct and orchestrate large, multi-contractor contract team efforts. Superior communications skills are required. Applicants must be willing to undergo a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements. Security Clearance Required.
