The Littoral Combat Ship Mission Package Integrator (LCS MPI) program is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with a Communications background. The selectee will support the development, integration, testing, and analysis of a communications system designed to control unmanned, offboard vehicles. The selectee's activities will range from hands-on assembly and testing, to radio frequency and antenna analysis.
Basic Qualifications:
BS plus six years of experience or nine years of directly applicable experience may be subsituted for degree. The candidate will have a knowledge of fundamental engineering principles, concepts, and techniques, exhibiting a knowledge of analytical and field methods and procedures. The candidate will demonstrate the skill and ability to perform moderately complex professional engineering tasks. Experience in the following (DoD) areas is preferred: RF hardware integration and test; working knowledge of AutoCAD or similar; use of DOORS requirements analysis tool, or similar; networking principles; computing systems. System deployment/field installation a definite plus. Must have excellent customer interface skills.
