Technical Proj Manager – 188367
Northrop Grumman Information Systems sector is seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals to develop, demonstrate, and transition technologies that enhance our nation's security. Initial assignment for the qualified applicant will support the Advisory & Assistance Services (A&AS) contract providing program management and engineering support to the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) Weapons of Mass Destruction Defeat Project. This project is located in Eglin AFB, FL.

Roles and Responsibilities
* Advise on development of technology objectives
* Develop recommendations for program plans
* Assist in determining development priorities
* Assist in all facets supporting Agency program management
* Develop program support briefings and assist in program reviews

Minimum Qualifications
* To be considered for this position, you must meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
* Bachelors in engineering, mathematics, physics or related technical management field
* Ten years experience in combination of DoD acquisition and R&D project management
* Working knowledge of DoD Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE)
* Ability in use of Microsoft Office and scheduling tools
* Excellent communication skills and ability to interface with customers and collaborators
* Understanding of military targeting processes
* Current Top Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications
Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:
* Graduate degree in technical discipline with at least eight years experience in combination of DoD acquisition and R&D project management
* Certification as a DoD acquisition professional or Project Management Professional
* Experience with agent defeat or advanced energetics weapon technologies
* Program management experience applied to development of advanced technology systems
* Experience with DoD financial reporting systems
