The Systems Engineer/Scheduler position includes: Cost and schedule forecasting/reporting and variance analysis, customer deliverables, and program level presentations. The selected candidate will work with technical management, and peers to process analytical, conceptual, and detailed information. Duties will also include: Coordinating, maintaining, and improving the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
The Systems Engineer/Tech Writer candidate will serve as the technical writer/editor for the project. The candidate will be responsible for at a minimum:
*Creating, updating, and maintaining project plans and procedures.
*Providing text updates to be loaded onto a web site.
*Finalizing CDRLs for delivery to the customer.
*Establishing project templates and documentation tools to ensure quality and consistency.
The Systems Engineer/CM candidate will be part of the METAWAVE team providing Configuration Management for the program.
Requirements:
Scheduler
*Minimum 4 years experience developing and managing resource-loaded project schedules for a development and/or operational project.
*Experience working with a development team, customer and stakeholders to gather schedule requirements, dependencies and activities.
*Proficient in the use of MS Project.
*Experience with integration of cost and schedule on program.
*Experience conducting meetings and presenting status to customers and to team members.
Tech Writer
*Experience with MS Word.
*Experience with MS PowerPoint.
*Experience with NSA/CSS classifcation marking standards.
*Work well with teams.
*Experience with technical projects and technical terminology.
Configuration Management (CM)
*At least five years of configuration management experience.
*At least three (3) years of experience using ClearCase.
*Experience establishing a software configuration environment using ClearCase.
*Organizational skills.
*At least two (2) years of experience using ClearQuest. Security Clearance Required.
