Roles and Responsibilities:
The Senior Software Engineer's primary role is to lead technical design of software systems targeting Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems as well as lead integration testing of developed software systems. The Senior Software Engineer shall assist the systems engineer in eliciting software requirements from system stakeholders. Additionally, the Senior Software Engineer shall assist the technical project manager and systems engineer with setting development standards and process as well as work with the Project Manager and other key team members to gather requirements design and implement the software development and draw on team expertise to provide timely, technically sound recommendations that meet customer requirements. Conduct demonstrations, briefings and status reports as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
* Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics or similar technical major plus fourteen years software engineering experience; or a Masters degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics or similar technical major plus twelve years software engineering experience.
* At least ten years experience coding in C, assembly or similar languages on Linux, UNIX and/or Windows.
* Direct experience with one or more of the control systems or SCADA systems currently under analysis by the Control Network Broadcasting Division (CNBD).
* Demonstrated ability to elicit user and system requirements and document requirements in a Concept of Operations (ConOps) document. (U//FOUO) Demonstrated ability to plan and develop system integration tests products, or in feasibility studies to research new products.
* Strong Oral and Written Communication; Teaming; and Time Management expertise
* At least three years experience as a software architect or lead developer designing and implementing systems.
* At least two years experience developing production quality tools OR at least one year developing production quality tools against systems including experience with communication protocols such as

* Demonstrated ability to elicit user and system requirements and document requirements in a Concept of Operations (ConOps) document. (U//FOUO) Demonstrated ability to plan and develop system integration tests products, or in feasibility studies to research new products.
Position requires a current TS/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph Clearance.
