The location is variable dependent upon location of candidate chosen for this position.
Responsible for leading capture efforts to secure new or re-compete competitive contracts. Responsible for creating and implementing the entire and overall capture plan, including the business solution and win strategy for pursuit of assigned opportunities. Responsible for maturing the opportunity through the corporate & sector capture processes. Understands and influences as appropriate buyer acquisition strategy, conducts robust competitive assessments, identifies NGC win discriminators, determines price to win, and win themes. Identifies and recommends needs for team mates when required to win, and once approved, recruits teammates, subcontractors, and suppliers for the capture effort and oversees their activities. Determines what human and capital resources are need to pursue the capture, creates and is held accountable for the overall capture schedule and budget. Works closely with functional leads. Plans and accomplishes pre-proposal activities and qualifies the proposal team. Works as part of the proposal team to ensure a discriminating, winning, profitable and executable proposal/program plan is submitted. Ensures proposal is delivered as required by the customer, conducts a lesson learned and documents actions to improve overall process.
Experience specifically in marketing one or more of the following given first preference: 1) Military logistics support, field technical services, weapon systems supply chain management, depot maintenance, and modification, overhaul and repair. 2) Military base and range infrastructure support to DoD or international customers. 3) Live, virtual and constructive training to US military, federal/state/local government and/or foreign customers. 4) Services marketing to NSA, DIA, NGIA, CIA and/or other intelligence agency customers.
Four year technical or business degree required. Advanced degree preferred. Must be able to provide evidence of demonstrated success in performing above duties. Multiple grade levels available (professional, manager) depending upon experience.
