Northrop Grumman Information Systems Sector is seeking a Program Manager 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in defining the future. The qualified applicant will become part of an important Northrop Grumman program as the Contractor Project Manager. This is a $19M a year effort employing 70.5 personnel providing a wide variety of support to the US Government. This position will be located at the customer site in Herndon, Virginia.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Manage the day to day operations of this program requiring close coordination with the customer, subcontractors and within Northrop Grumman. Manage approximately 10 subcontract companies requiring consistent and continuing interaction. Manage staffing requirements: identify, interview, evaluate, and hire qualified personnel to fill open positions. Coordinate with the onsite customer managers to ensure our personnel are performing effectively. Maintain a close working relationship with and respond to Contracts Officer and COTR requirements. Coordinate the activities of program control, contracts, and subcontracts personnel to ensure seamless communication and responses to the Contracts Officer and the COTR. Serve as a section manager for up to 10 personnel on a restricted program.

Minimum Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
-- Bachelors degree --Qualified candidates must have a current TS/SCI with Lifestyle Polygraph to be considered for this position.
-- In-depth knowledge of and direct experience with customer-specific cyber operations mission, process, and procedures.
-- At least five years of experience managing programs of progressive larger size with at least two years managing a program of at least 30 personnel
-- At least five years of experience managing a program that makes use of multiple subcontractors and consultants
-- Have a demonstrated record of managing a large number of employees providing effective counseling, coaching and feedback.
-- Have a demonstrated record of successful financial management
-- Have a demonstrated record of establishing and maintaining effective communications and positive relationships with support staff
-- Have strong communications and interpersonal skills for dealing with the customer, subcontractors, Northrop Grumman support staff, and employees.
--Experience with Northrop Grumman policies and procedures is considered an asset.
