This is a P/T Management Position located in Pearl Harbor HI. Working on a Gov Facility, No Relocation Allowance is Offered

Specific Skills Required:
Requires a minimum of 9 years Marine shipboard & submarine maintenance project experience plus a H.S. or trade school diploma. Shipboard or submarine maintenance experience must be in one of the following trades areas: mechanical, electrical, shipboard pipefitting, shipboard structural trades. At least (2) of these years must have been in a trades supervisory capacity with (1) year supervising work on Nuclear Submarines. Requires (1) year experience in QA procedures and requirements as they relate to shipboard equipment and systems. Requires the ability and experience in reading and interpreting blue prints, technical manuals, and other technical data and the ability to sequence project work appropriately. Requires computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel financial spreadsheets, email and Microsoft Project. Requires knowledge and experience in compliance with Safety, Security and Environmental Compliance procedures and regulations: State and Federal. Must be able to obtain and hold a Gov. Security Clearance at the SECRET level. Must be physically able to work on U.S. Navy ships and submarines in industrial environments.


Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
