Exercise Analyst Fires – 186314
Performs duties as Fires Analyst of Functional Brigades during division and corps - level Warfighter Exercises (WFXs) and Mission Rehearsal Exercises (MRXs). Analyzes and evaluates operations plans and orders; establishes collection plans based on the Commander of the OPSGP (COG's) themes and keys to the battle; retrieves and analyzes data during the course of the exercise and prepares After Action Review products. Supports a wide range of other management-directed requirements by developing concepts, writing reports, and preparing White Papers. Provides the Commander of the OPSGP (COG) and Fires Warfighting Functin (WFF) Chief with areas of interest for analysis during WFXs/MRXs and provides trend analysis. Assists the Senior Analyst as required in the improvement and automation of Fire Support products in the ARCHER AARS or other After Action Review System.

Mel 4-CGSC Equivalent; graduate of FA or AVN Advanced Course; BS or BA degree; SECRET Clearance; familiar with Army/Joint doctrine; experience in simulation training and simulation programs used by BCTP; scenario development experience; knowledgeable and current in doctrinal WFF TTP at Brigade through ARFOR level and familiar with MS Office suite of software.
