Component Engineer with connector, cable, wire, and/or relay experience. The applicant shall have a demonstrated understanding of space level connector, wire, cable assembly, and/or mechanical relay engineering requirements and applications. This position provides the primary technical support role in the selection, test, qualification, application, and failure analysis resolution of electromechanical devices. Support activities also include standardization initiatives, creating procurement specifications, interfacing with various internal functional engineering groups, and oversight of supply base performance to maintain strategic relationships.
BSEE or equivalent with minimum of 5 years experience. Excellent written and oral communication skills are a must. Ability to work independently and as a team player. Ability to multi-task and interface effectively with various program customers in a proactive manner is essential.
