As a Hybrid Component Engineer, you will become part of a dynamic Commodity Engineering Team that develops and leads the supply chain strategy associated with hybrid part procurement. In this role, the Hybrid Component Engineer is responsible for the specification and procurement of hybrid products that are capable of meeting design engineering performance and hi-reliability space requirements. The engineer will formulate part specifications, coordinate supplier selection and producibility determination, verify acceptability of in-house application usage, and routinely interface with user program personnel related to procurement status and resolution of technical issues. The engineer will also be responsible for the oversight of hybrid supplier base performance.
Basic Qualifications: BS or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, min 14 yrs related experience in product engineering and manufacturing of high reliability RF, mixed signal, or power hybrid devices required. The candidate must possess strong hybrid design analytical skills, work independently in a 'hands-on' manner, be comfortable with interfacing with program customers, and have strong interpersonal skills to work across all functions/levels as part of the Hybrid team. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must. Ability to travel required.
