Manage a network-based CAFM system for approximately 14 million square feet of space across 8 major U.S. locations. This database will facilitate all moves/adds/changes in occupancy, provide space management capabilities, provide a workflow for tactical planning (both large and small projects), and will be the basis for strategic facilities planning. The CAFM analyst will provide services related to the maintenance of Facilities and Real Estate related data housed in the system, update and manipulate architectural AutoCAD drawings, and will be responsible for the ongoing system administration, architecture, and follow on enhancements as needed.Database/System Administration and Data Integrity Manage the data provided by Facilities Services Planning and Business -Management Organizations relative to headcount; space and building capacities, and utilization Participate in the development of standards for data flow to and from CAFM Test to insure data integrity; perform periodic physical verification of data; troubleshooting Network with user groups and planning representatives to leverage data verification Resolve data discrepancies CAFM Drawings Review changes to as-builts; review polyline revision/creation at the room level; classify space according to proper standards and procedures; identify capacity information at the room level; maintain cost center information at the room level Administer the measurement of space according to IFMA standards, administer CAFM database standards and calculation routines that have been customized for our purposes Manage change management process within system Liaise with Facilities Planning and functional focal points to coordinate CAD updates, complete project work and conduct in field verifications Support process to incorporate architectural changes into record drawings set to be used as base drawings for CAFM files and as records of facility layout CAFM Queries and Reporting Maintain monthly reports, occupancy metrics, churn rate, etc.Prepare ad hoc reports Participate in the development of reporting and dashboardsGenerate metrics for internal benchmarking End-User Support Develop and distribute training materials and conduct training for CAFM usersProvide support for database users to enable them to make effective and efficient use of the systems Develop System Documentation and Policies and Procedures Manual Support for Facilities Services Analyze current processes and develop/recommend improvements Recognize opportunities to share/distribute/utilize CAFM data and drawings with the goal to improve tactical and strategic planning and facilities operations Assist Planning and Project Management teams with other projects as required Principle Relationships Internal Coordinate and interface with outside vendors, end users, other department team members, and service providers to resolve issues.
Basic Requirements BS degree in Information Systems or equivalent yrs of experience and 6 yrs of related experience Proficient in CAFM, with knowledge of relational database systems Prior experience with Archibus CAFM System and working knowledge of AutoCad 2009 required Experience with SAP, Peoplesoft/CHR, MAXIMO, as well as CAFM systems other than Archibus (such as TriRiga) highly preferred. Experience with database reporting tools such as Business Objects and Crystal Reports
