Computer Systems Analyst 5 – 187716
The Aerospace Systems Strike and Surveillance Systems Division Business Systems Operations organization in El Segundo is seeking a Computer Systems Analyst to provide systems support for the new SAP Materiel Requirement Planning (MRP) applications. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Develop computer systems specifications that address business requirements and that fit with the company's system architecture standards. Establishes and documents system parameters and formats, ensures software systems compatibility and coordinates and/or modifies system parameters in terms of existing and projected system capabilities. Revises existing systems and procedures to correct deficiencies and maintain more effective data handling, conversion, input/output requirements, and storage. Requires knowledge of legacy computer system capabilities and functional business processes to develop new systems and capabilities. Support the implementation of IT applications through requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, testing, training and implementation. Perform troubleshooting procedures and implement corrective actions. Execute statement of work using desktop and mainframe software applications.Basic Qualifications: A Bachelors Science degree in computer sciences or related technical field; with a minimum 14 years of experience; or Masters of Science degree is in computer sciences or related technical field ; with a minimum 12 years of experience required. U.S. Citizenship Required. Preferred Experience: Requires knowledge of Material Requirements Planning principles and SAP MRP systems functionality as well as legacy MRP systems and capabilities. Position requires good verbal and written communications skills, and the ability to work with others in a team environment. Applicants must be highly motivated and have the ability to work independently with little oversight and also as an integral member of the team. Total 15 plus years experience with cross sectional of SAP MRP and legacy PIOS/CPIOS applications.
