Responsibilities include creation of work and repair instructions as well as definition of repair tooling concepts in a liaison environment. Work is on the Joint STARS program, experience with heavy aircraft a plus. Candidate must possess excellent people and leadership skills, along with strong presentation and writing skills as well as proficiency with computer systems.
BA/BS degree in a technical discipline (or equivalent) and 5 years of related experience, to include, experience with tooling and assembly planning. Candidate must also possess a technical understanding and application knowledge of aircraft manufacturing, assembly, tooling, corrective action, and producibility. Frequent inter-organizational and outside customer contacts. Represents the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects. Works under only general direction. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions. Current Secret Security Clearance preferred.
This is primarily a second shift position.
