Software Engineer
Professional Experience:
Northrop Grumman Information Systems sector is seeking a Software Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Ft. Meade, MD.
Roles and Responsibilities:
The Software Engineer will generate, revise, update, compile, debug and write simple to moderately complex business, scientific, or software computer programs. In addition, they would develop flow charts and diagrams outlining process steps in operation; develop and revises program code; prepare documentation of program development, modifications to code as needed; and may be required to analyze system capabilities to resolve input/output problems.
Minimum Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
* Five (5) years experience in the Software Engineering field; this will include experience with participating in the development of a software framework in a UNIX environment
* Required experience in full software lifecycle development strcutred software development, system and network programming and source code control
* Demonstrated ability to work within a team-oriented environment
* Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal)
Position requires a current TS/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph Clearance.
No relocation package is available with this position
Final Grade determination based upon qualifications of selected candidate.
