The Decision Support and Targeting Integrated Product Team in Hollywood, MD is seeking a software engineer to design and develop Mission Planning applications for the Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS) and other C# applications software packages to be integrated into a new mission planning product for Maritime Patrol Applications. Successful candidates will apply object oriented design principles to translate requirements into software design and develop application software to support Tactical Support Center mission planning for P-8A MMA and other Maritime Patrol Aircraft mission planning requirements. Candidate must be able to organize tasks; maintain schedules; communicate clearly using email, teleconferencing, MS Power Point, Project, Word and Excel. Able to do independent research and provide solutions based on requirements. Successful candidates will have the ability to troubleshoot, maintain and to textually and graphically document software.
Basic Qualifications: A Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent plus a minimum of 5 years software design, development experience is required. Experience with one or more of the following: C#, C++, Visual Basic, COM, the .NET framework, DOORS, UML, and the Microsoft Windows Operating System. Knowledge and use of ISO 9000 and related CMMI processes. US citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance is required.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with JMPS Framework, JMPS UPC/CC development a plus.
