Northrop Grumman Information Systems sector is seeking a Software Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.
Roles and Responsibilities:
The Software Engineer will be responsible for developing applications software for small to highly complex computer systems or portions of large integral systems. The candidate will translate detailed designs into computer software program languages, prepare detailed flowcharts, develop code, document, and test software. Duties will include the creation or modification of administrative, scientific or system software, on centralized and distributed systems and finding/fixing software bugs in existing code. Duties may also include software test, design, test data acquisition, and test results analysis and reporting.

Minimum Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, or equivalent experience. (5) years experience in software development, programming, and/or engineering. Must possess experience in requirements analysis, software development, and installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing and problem diagnosis, and resolution. At least (5) years experience developing in Java, J2EE, and/or C++ within a Linux and/or Windows environment. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment where multiple projects are being developed and deployed simultaneously. Must be able to work well within a team environment. Must be able to adapt quickly to change.
