Sr. Software Architect – 189781
The Senior Software Architect - Reconfigurable Architect Lead will act as a Technical Advisor and is expected to be an integral contributor to the proposal process at Northrop Grumman for future business with the Armed Services. This position interfaces frequently with key architects, enterprise technical executives and functional capability profit and loss directors and other division personnel. Based on prior operational experience, the candidate is expected to assist Directors and Program Managers in formulating program strategies and technology roadmaps. Applications are primarily for Electronic Warfare systems.
This position is posted as dual salary band 04/05. The candidate's skills and qualifications will determine the appropriate salary band.

Qualifications
Must possess 14 years of experience with a Bachelors (engineering discipline) or 12 years experience with a Masters (engineering discipline). Must demonstrate leadership qualities and have a proven background in developing and evaluating multiband, multimode architectures; knowledge of networking and networking software; experience with JTRS (and SCA model) and/or SDR and associated development systems, at least 8 years experience as a C++/OOP programmer and background with real time embedded systems; strong background in reconfigurable multiband, multimode communications architectures; experience with designing and developing software defined radio (SDR) and/or software that meets the JTRS standard using the SCA model; knowledge of networking and networking software; C++/OOP experience. Excellent writing and presentation skills are required. An active Secret clearance is required as well.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with the progress of the SDR Forum and/or IEEE P1900 is a plus.
