Test Engineer T2 – 169620
The candidate is required to have a proficient knowledge of all systems applicable to submarine operations including but not limited to propulsion, electro-mechanical, navigation, electrical, and environmental control systems. A strong digital design background with ASIC/XLINX design development experience is required. Microcontroller (embedded development) applications is required. Experience in data communications and electrical control interface is an additional asset in performing production testing. Must have experience in designing and implementing test fixtures and devices required to test systems and subsystems as required by test procedures and/or other instructions. Experience in fiber optics testing is preferred skill set. The candidate must be able to manage total system testing by planning , organizing resources, controllng , and directing all test actvities applicable to undersea systems. Effective communications skills are required to interface with program and customer personnel. Extended work days hours and confined space operations may be required for many tests. Some travel is required. Military experience is a preferred experience .

Candidate must have a minimum 2 yrs experience, a BS degree in electrical engineering is required.
