Military Trainer
Professional Experience:
Northrop Grumman Information Systems sector is seeking a Military Trainer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Landover, MD.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Put your years of experience into a future of excellence... We provide extensive security enhancements to the computer software system to meet our customer's security requirements. The individual that moves into this role will become part of one of Northrop Grumman's critical projects. This project continues to grow and introduce new technology challenges on a continuing basis by supporting the mission in the following manner:
* Train all system users, specifically - System Administrators, Security Managers, Site Chiefs, System Security Administrators, and Deployable users
* Maintain and ensure all training course materials, practical exercises and examinations current, and ensure the training software suite reflects the current fielded configuration
* Develop new courses in response to Government tasking
* Assist in testing and troubleshooting computer equipment and software applications when necessary
* Sustain equipment, software, and a comfortable classroom environment favorable for successful training; maintain a thorough and current knowledge of the system
Minimum Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
* Bachelors Degree plus five (5) years experience in adult training/education
* Five (5) years minimum experience in operation of computer hardware and software.
* Demonstrate comprehensive organizational, oral, and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:
* Five (5) years minimum formal, practical and successful experience training adults in the operation of computer hardware and software
* Five (5) years minimum of formal, practical and successful experience in adult course development and supporting documentation.
Final Grade determination based upon qualifications of selected candidate.
