Description

Northrop Grumman Information Systems sector is seeking a System Administrator/ Help Desk Support Candidate to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals located at Fort Meade, MD. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Cyber Intelligence Division/Essex business unit – A market leader which innovates a culture of creativity, investment, and teamwork to solve the Intelligence Community's toughest problems.

The candidate will resolve technical problems and answers queries by telephone in support of internal and/or outside customer computer hardware, software, and network systems. The individual will diagnose, identify, isolate and analyze problems utilizing historical database records. The Candidate may route calls to product line specialists. They will maintain and update records and tracking databases. Individual will alert program team to recurring problems and patterns of problems. Candidate may install, configure and troubleshoot desktop systems, workstations and network connectivity issues. Individual may assign and maintain user passwords and/or accounts for specialized software.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
· A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience with IT and mission applications;
· Must be competent and able to work at the highest technical level analyzing systems applications when performing troubleshooting.
Candidate must have a current TS/SCI with Polygraph.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Responsible for providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for: Databases, Systems Hardware or Production of Software Applications as delivered as part of a system;
· Support includes: Help Desk Assistance, Triage, Resolution Activities, Systems Monitoring, Service Restoration, etc.
