Quality Engineer Mission Assurance – 189640
The Mission Assurance Engineer (MAE) will assist in conducting contract and subcontract reviews identifying unique MA requirements and review drawings and revision notice changes. The MAE will participate in Configuration Control Boards, Corrective and Preventative Action Boards, IPTs and Material Review Boards.
This position is posted as dual salary band 03/04. The candidate's skills and experience will determine the appropriate salary band.
Qualifications
Position requires a Bachelor's degree (engineering or technical discipline preferred) with a minimum of five years experience in Quality Engineering activities. Requires knowledge of ISO specifications and standards, quality management system, customer requirements flow down, methods process and product assessments. Must possess good written and verbal communications skills, a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to effectively interface with management, suppliers and external customers. Candidate must be able to effectively collect, analyze, organize and present data. An active Top Secret Clearance is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong skill set in developing and managing supplier/subcontractor activities. Knowledge of SAP, procurement subcontract management, and continuous improvement tools preferred. Printed circuit board experience desired.
