Upgrade your career... Northrop Grumman Information Systems sector is seeking a Information Technologist 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in defining the future. This position will be located in Omaha, NE. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's End user support team for Army Corp of Engineers (ACE) Information Technology Program. ACE-IT supports over 35,000 users via a complex IT infrastructure of servers, routers, firewalls, and high performance computing systems.
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Gathers information concerning the capabilities of company products; investigates the technical capabilities of company products and competing equipment; stays abreast of developments in hardware and software; analyzes customer problems; assists in designing systems to satisfy customer needs.
* Generate base maps and reports as needed by project managers. Provided GIS map production and QA/QC of map products selected for PIR inclusion.
* Exerts some influence on the overall objectives and long-range goals of the organization. Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve objectives would normally have a serious effect upon the administration of the organization.
* Complete understanding and application of principles, concepts, practices, and standards. Full knowledge of industry and company practices.
* End user support for the S&E community for Bently Microstation, AutoCadd, EGIS applications, Projectwise and Water Management Programs.
Minimum Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent
* Extensive knowledge Bentley Microstation, AutoCADD, EGIS and ProjectWise applications.
* Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:
* Experience with Army Corp of Engineers supporting Cad and GIS applications
* Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance
