Software Test Engineer – ES/057724
The software test engineer will generate test plans and procedures, and execute tests to verify the implementation of customer requirements. Knowledge of TCP/IP protocols is required and the candidate should have experience with configuring computers with various versions of Windows and Linux/Unix operating systems. Ability to configure open source software and emulation software such as VMWare is desirable. Knowledge of scripting languages such as Perl, TCL, Python is desirable. This position requires frequent use and application of test engineering technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques. Candidate will provide creative testing solutions to a wide range of software applications and be capable of a complete understanding of a wide range of solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity. BS Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field is required, with a minimum of 5 years of experience. Masters Degree desirable. The ability to obtain a Top Secret Security Clearance is required. Basic Qualifications: BS CS or CE. Ability to obatain a Top Secret Clearance at a minimum.
